Hey, I’m Scott. I have a non-creative corporate job that pays my bills. I draw for fun (and what little online validation I can get as a way to convince myself that art isn’t a huge waste of my time).

I feel called out. But still some of my favorite comics from the 90s, spider-man with the punisher (ASM 330), spider-man on Venom (my favorite venom btw) island (ASM 347), “cyborg” spider-man (SM 21). All still just as great today.

As many artists, I wish I was faster. I finally found the motivation, & after 3 days (& 2 Jurassic Park movies) I’m only this far. Even with a thumbnail sketch to guide me, I still struggle drawing the vision in my head. Two attempts at structuring Rumi and Zoey, I think I finally have the forms.

Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

1995, Shivers. I remember it being like MYST, but with a dark horror vibe.
