It's about time Strange Days finally begins getting the retrospective love and respect it deserves. To me, it's the best pre-Matrix cyberpunk film other than Blade Runner and Robocop, and still better than most cyberpunk films made since.

It's ALL of our problems. The unvaxxed help viruses develop new strains and variants, vaccines are not 100% effective, and certain vaccines (like current Covid ones) don't prevent transmission but lessen the effects.

Not to mention folks like Dr. Brain Worms trying to forbid vaccines entirely.

Ideally, yes - authorities SHOULD avoid doing unethical, sneaky, destructive shit. Whether they do so or not, WE should avoid doing it, too.

Yes, governments and doctors have done plenty of dodgy crap. Much of said dodgy crap is the reason we have more ethics and safeguards in place than we used to have.
