Thank you Jeibon! one of the few brights spots in my life is getting to meet and to know a lot of awesome artists like yourself whether it's at actual cons or online because that's where I draw inspiration to keep making art and keep going in general. I would feel very lost without you all!

I'm just trying to do my best to keep myself together, and find solace in either the work that is asked of me or the work I try to find for myself both of which is just trying to make meaningful art that hopefully people would be happy to see if they ever stumble upon it.-

things such as being rejected for dealers table at cons, unable to make a splash or some type of noise regardless of what kind of art I make, being an easy target to attack, being forced to be a diplomat at home just to restore some measure of peace between my parents its a lot for me to handle-

So while I'm being yelled at with hateful words piercing me right into my soul, the only solace I have is the attempt in completing a drawing or a painting I have in front of me and I hope you all excuse me if new works haven't been seen as of late since I just feel very sad in general about things-

Meanwhile while I try to work in my own corner of the house, my mother unable to get through to my father in any meaningful way becomes a wannabe tiger mom towards me and attacks me over anything; my appearance, my work ethic, constant comparisons to other people, etc.. it's very demoralizing-

While my father is more or less in his own world, my mom works day and night as a seamstress taking on alteration orders to help keep this family afloat and suffers from severe physical pain leading to many sleepless nights before she has to will herself back to the sewing table-

I also have problems at home that I don't really like to talk about but if no one's going to see this post anyways well my family is slowly falling and imploding, my father has a gambling addiction throwing away his retirement and my mother had several mental breakdowns over it-

I felt very depressed all day, just kept thinking about things like the barren engagement with my art here like how can I stay motivated to do my best work if it isn't going to be seen at all let alone find any new commission work to sustain myself if I'm not even given a chance?-
