I don't think they took a trip down to the pitcher store where your options are used up guy for $25M over way too many years, constantly hurt guy easily dreamt upon until you wake up, or the trade route where another team knows the medicals better than you ever could. Bird in the bush!

Finally watched The Substance, great flick, and while it wasn’t hard to grasp messaging, I kinda liked watching it through the lens of a single mom not knowing what to do with her insanely hot daughter who is finally going out in the real world for the first time.

This Rachel O'Donoghue writing at @honestreporting.com person seems like a real piece of shit. Viewing the world through a very narrow lens and rejecting anything that goes against that worldview should not be the mindset of an author. A propagandist, sure, but not someone to believe.

This guy did it all out in the open as shadow president then created a law that if anyone tried to impose consequences for his mass murder he would kill all those people, too. No one should ever forget what he did for decades.

Good riddance to Dick Cheney who never produced a single worthwhile thing for anybody beyond a very small group of people and caused the death of many. He was never held to account for his war crimes. His family should have to carry his shame for eternity.

But these are the kind of hypotheticals that sustain life in the offseason. I would want more control/less risk in return for Holliday, but in practicality this is not that far off and it's hard to find scenarios where you get everything you want. I hope they keep him and he's a star, personally.

I agree it is tilted even if only slightly. Holliday has a lot of promise and has started actualizing it, if only for stretches so far. I think he's going to be very good and a high price to pay for a strong contract, very good pitcher who has more risk than most.
