Having an iPad as my tablet definitely helps keep me in at least partial Apple-brain but yeah, I get that.

I would definitely not like to jump over to iPhone after 15 years on Android.

If only for the reason that I don't want to re-purchase a bunch of stuff.

I use Lawnchair as my launcher since Nova died and that lets me tune my homescreen and app drawer the way I want it too.

Yes there is a version of Lawnchair in the Play store but it's a bit behind the version on GitHub that I can install myself.

I won't be able to do that if Android locks down.

iPhone cameras are just as good if not better than Pixel.

If changing icon palettes is the biggest customization I'm allowed, iPhones can do that too.

Like, genuinely, I have no idea what Android is for if Google continues to lock the OS down.

Y'know... If Google's really gonna lock down Android as hard as they are threatening, I may as well just switch to an iPhone.

The main reason I use android is that I can tune and customize it as much as my little geeky heart desires and yes, that includes sideloading or alternate appstores.
