Inktober Coda: All the cartoon versions of the Rocky Horror cast, on size comparison sheets.
Thanks for sharing all my stuff during Inktober, @glaeken.bsky.social You've been a great supporter, and it's much appreciated.
Yes, but I have yet to do so successfully.
Inktober Day 31: This it it, gang! Our last sketch of the month! Finishing up with everyone's favourite barbarian, Conan! Brush and ink on Strathmore Bristol. 11x14 inches.
True story, it happened to a friend of my cousin's.
Inktober Day 30: The penultimate post! Last one for Predator, my second favourite 'alien kills everyone' movie. Finally, of course, it's the intergalactic sportsman himself, The Predator. Brush and ink on Strathmore Mixed Media paper. 6x8 inches.
You've got to admire the man's acting range.
There was certainly a diminishment of quality after the first two seasons. However, I recall preferring season 4 to 3. The momentum has definitely dissipated, but perhaps the longer hiatus will result in a better production. I'll check it out.
I loved that series, particularly the two issues that were reproduced from Ploog's tonal pencils.
Great shirt, but I'm even more amazed by the Ploog POTA original on the wall! Fantastic!
Inktober Day 29: Our final tribute to the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This time it's the mad scientist who sets the entire adventure in motion, Frank-N-Furter, as portrayed by the flamboyant Tim Curry. Plus a bonus art test featuring Frank as the subject.
Dan Barry was brilliant. I have a nice collection of his Flash stuff and it was as good as any of the great adventure strip art.
Wow. I'm such a Frankenstein fan I can't believe I've never seen these before. Terrific!
Yeah, if it were handled by Adobe you'd have to pay every month of your long, long life.
Is this legit, or is it AI trickery?
Inktober Day 28: Since Hallowe'en is coming up, I figure it's time to post my favourite sexy alien vampire, Vampirella, along with her pet kitty and batty friends. Brush and ink on Strathmore Bristol. 11x14 inches.
My writing/performing partner Jane Luk and I did an interview with Michael Wall on his popular podcast Too Opinionated, about our other podcast 'Til Death Do Us Part. You can see our podcast with Michael here: lnkd.in/gamYaxwF

I usually finish a fair chunk of the work before October, @ctempleart.bsky.social That may not be strictly within the spirit of Inktober, but that's my way. It lets me complete more finished and detailed pieces. Even if you only do a few drawings, you should be proud of what you've accomplished.
