Genuinely delighted to download a PhD thesis from a university repository where the author has neglected to remove the words "BITCH THIS IS YOUR THESIS" from the filename.

Venice used to have a second church on Piazza San Marco: S. Geminiano designed by Sansovino you can see in this Canaletto painting. It was kind of a big deal; shows up in a ton of artwork. It was destroyed by Napoleon — to build a ballroom.

Napoleon occupied Venice 1806-1814, eight years.
Oh wonderful, well done. And the more pics the better!

This remains the funniest way to hear about an internet outage, though.
It’s actually quite interesting having a male cleaner. He’s obsessive about the weirdest things, and is much more judgmental than female cleaners have been. He’s also a pâtissier in a local restaurant, and I must say the kitchen’s never been so clean!
