This is depressing, it's obvious that GLP-1s could help Inflammation driven conditions like LC. We aren't going to address an emergency unless we act like it's an emergency, we need 'whatever it takes' people in charge, not trialing it the most effective way because 'rules' is ... there aren't words

💯 Zack is the only politician engaged in UK politics. The rest are children playing some ridiculous game of self enrichment & faking outrage for whatever they think will get them on the news, they have no beliefs, no morals, no ability, no shame. It's laughable we still pretend they are politicians

It must be possible to say that death rates and hospitalisation rates aren't what we should be focusing on about COVID, without that being interpreted as dismissing those events. Yes they are awful, no they aren't the main concern, yes the fact the media focus is always on them is deliberate

The only way it changes is through very strong instruction from regulating bodies, who are all politically pressured. The most disappointing group is the unions, they are not doing their job.

So the science showing COVID vaccination can improve efficacy of cancer treatment is OK, but the far greater body of science demonstrating that COVID vaccination reduces the risk of Long COVID for **EVERYONE** is not OK? Because then you'd have to admit COVID infection is dangerous to everyone.

If only the journalist who wrote this had, by way of research, read the recent paper critically analysing the 'covid is airborne hiv' analogy, had been capable of joining the dots and had then written the wider story. Everything happening is 💯 consistent with COVID science

Small note to Green party. Just rec'd email of upcoming events, socials described as 'accessible'. They aren't accessible if they ignore COVID. I am 100% behind Zack, if these sessions help build momentum then great, but I think just don't say they are accessible when they exclude CEV people

My interpretation of the entire COVID inquiry; this is a performative process not in any way intended to hold anyone to account and categorically not to surface the fact that all the mistakes that cost lives are still being made today.

Fact 1: Severe post COVID illness likely happens to people who have some susceptibilities
Fact 2: Getting infected with COVID leaves you with those susceptibilities
Fact 3: Different people will have different numbers of infections they can tolerate before developing something life altering

Really good book around the point Conor is making and how no lessons are being learned, because it is a deliberate strategy based on the misguided belief that those not in the viral underclass are safe from COVID, as they (largely are) from HIV
