Does anyone know why, in Paper Mario 64, the grass is sometimes filtered, sometimes not, often in the same scene? Is this a performance trick? I remember noticing this back when the game came out and it made no sense to me. Same thing with Zelda Ocarina of Time water texture.

But there was no actual technical limitation to use the same physical screen real estate? Or was there? Can't they detect programmatically wether the game is running on OLED hardware specifically?

Does Kirby Forgotten Land Switch 2 Edition use DLSS? I was playing in portable mode and noticed some strange rendering, specifically on the seven segment numbers.

I think so. This was announced on the Hollow Knight kickstarter where people will receive Switch 1 eshop codes, hence the upgrade pack.
