An image that promotes a webcomic. The artwork is a brightly colored digital illustration that features two characters embracing against a colorful rainbow hued background with stars and sparkles. One character has white rainbow hued hair and celestial looking skin while the other wears a lavender suit, has dark hair with white streaks. The text reads: YA+ trans MC queer romance Mythological (greek) sci-fi/action/comedy free to read/updated weekly Time is unraveling and the dancefloor’s on fire. Cass, a genderfluid demigod with unreliable powers and serious romantic heat, teams up with a mortal detective, an anxious author, a cocky shapeshifter and a celestial chihuahua to stop their time-warping twin with a god complex. It's time to disco or die trying! www.neonpantheoncomic.com A brightly colored digital illustration featuring two characters falling in an embrace against a starry and bright background. Sky Tree at night, but Cass can portal up to the top after operating hours so there are no crowds.
Anon asks: Cass takes Eli to japan for a date. What's the first place they check out together?

Comic page from the comic Kiss the Cook (written by Barbara, art by Rhinosnax). Olivia saved something for Marcelle, which Marcelle is delighted to try as they continue to chat.

Olivia: I do have something for you, I’m Olivia by the way.

Marcelle: Marcelle, nice to meet you...

Marcelle: Are you sure?

Olivia: Yeah, neighborly treat.

Olivia: I’m sorry I didn’t get to come by first. I wasn’t sure if I should just wait until tomorrow’s bake since everything else sold out...

Marcelle: Why is that? Panel from House of Slay Season 2 story, Mx. Nomer, with fragment glimpses of the main character Naomi. Art by Dominic Bustamante. Cover art for "The Curie Society: Game of Code" featuring a dynamic illustration of six diverse characters actively engaging with various technologies, set against a backdrop of a large classical building. Text includes authors' names: Heather Einhorn, Adam Staffaroni, Barbara Perez Marquez, and Sonia Liao. Page 1 from the Tell Them Of Us story, Sower's Requiem, with the main character Nela walking through a golden field of wheat and ending with her boot prints on the soil. Art by Amalas Rosa.

I get a lot of great ideas while driving/listening to music. Mostly ideas for art and character dialogue. Also when I’m laying in bed trying to sleep. I’m constantly jotting things down in my notes app. I have one note that at this point is like hundreds of little quips and bursts of dialogue.
Anon asks: What sort of places or settings do you find the best to help you get into the mindset to write/draw?

I’ll admit I have not been drinking enough water on this trip, going to work on that now.
Anon asks: You'll remember to stay hydrated, right?

I’m taking a break to rest because I’m so beat after Harajuku yesterday. Gonna take it easy and draw for a bit. Feel free to ask me anything anonymously:

Me too. But I always worry people will just think I like to buy clothes just to buy them. But I can spot a pre 1990 made t-shirt without pulling it off the rack due to the stitching and collar. I can tell you the type of job someone had based off denim whiskering. It’s my special interest.

European 1950s-60s Cafe Racer (men’s)
UK 1960s Mod (men’s)
American 1970s Disco (men’s & women’s)
American 1940s Workwear
UK 1970s Glam Rock (probably my favorite to look at)
American Y2K Futuristic (cybercore)

But I really like anything denim and leather.

BTW, my first job as a teen was in a thrift store dealing vintage and antique clothing. My dad was an antique dealer, so I went with him everywhere. I can tell when and where something was made just by looking. I worry it might seem like frivolous, but old clothes are my version of trains 😆

I have gotten 6 jackets so far, along with a couple of vintage denim jeans, slacks, 2 scarves, a tie, a belt and a button down. Lots of high quality vintage and very good prices.

It really does feel personal😆

I have literally emotionally and psychologically bullied multiple people into watching Trigun and they do this to me the day after I leave 😭😭😭

I will not stand for this omg I need to speak to a manager 😆

You have to be kidding, it starts the literal day after I leave Japan.

Yeah it’s almost exclusively European and American vintage that I have found so far. Things still run small ofc because it’s vintage, but that works for me!

The guy working there was adorable and dressed like Mick Jagger, he said I looked cool and he could tell I liked the music they were playing (they were playing The Hives, The Smiths, garage rock, etc). I felt very special 😂

By far the vintage highlight was a small underground shop called Apollo, which stocks vintage deadstock British clothing, lots of Mod through the 70s.

This haul would have been 4x the price in San Francisco.

A fascinating thing about vintage in Tokyo is the targeted audience here v America. For example I bought two vintage 1960s-70s Italian lambskin jackets for $60, while an American Champion sweater from the 1990s is like $50, because it’s imported and desired among actual Japanese people right now.

I walked away from a vintage Burberry leather jacket. But I’m gonna survey the damage tonight and think on it.
