I was a happy subscriber for the free CD issue (fuck the shitty download issue - I do not want to own a computer). Now I get to pay twice as much for less than half and it feels much more “pitchfork approved”. Walking away (I have literally every CD they issued.)
Too few - the CDs were better.
On one of those sites I did upload pics of the 16” discs
November 1, that’s when new exchange prices become real for real Americans. November 2, that’s when the GOP decides to cave - they might delay announcing for a few days hoping there are 8 dumb as hell Democrats…
Pretty sure Lee and Lifton were already studying with Lennie as as all were in Chicago. But still really kids.
The Lennie pieces (bad sound and all) are really cool.
There are a good dozen items - I’ll add you to more but running to the neighbors for dinner. Amazingly lucky find and likely only physical copies are at my house…

Kinda fun but the make 78’s seem durable.
Yes but so much harder to see what you are looking for - or to scan and pick something - which is what I often do.
When I got these about that long ago I was sure they would never be full… I did not anticipate CDs becoming nearly free… I’m well positioned for the CD rediscovery.
I love those records and he’s local here so plays a lot (not so much the Tzadik material…). But still wonderful.
What’s playing at this moment.
