Damon Albarn wrote this with the US led coalition invaded Iraq. He felt like the world was spinning out of time because it was so crazy.

Best/worst book I've ever read. Incredibly detailed research. Very well written. But taught be something about humans I really never wanted to learn. Your neighbor is capable of becoming a monster that would put a bullet in your head, and it doesn't take "brainwashing" or "reprogramming".

Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning should be required reading. Explains explicitly how a reserve police force in 1940 became one of the Holocaust's most effective death squads. Regular butchers and accountant murdered tens of thousands.

That ain't no shit! But the good thing about them is they make more of themselves each year and you can sell the new ones. WAY more actual work, but they tend to reproduce if you do it right. But sadly, that difference between on the hoof price and beef in the store... goes to middlemen.

Grew up in and around farm/ranch country and still live out here even though I work a factory job. "Farming" is not what most city folk think it is. So just trying to help OP out showing that.

My parents still have the same number we got when we we moved in like 1990, which I can remember. And the one that was drummed into me as a very young kid before we moved because teaching kids phone number and address was a thing for 5 year olds.
