I guess it all boils down to the fact that most series that aren't focused on romance usually don't serve you ships on a silver platter but require you to use your own imagination. But I'm the kind of person who WANTS to be served, or else I just don't feel it... man... _(:'3

That kinda makes me wanna get involved and draw some pairings, too, even if it's only to fuel my own guilty pleasure. But that brings me back to the point of not being invested enough in any ships to bother drawing them... 🥲

I'm not really invested in any ships whatsoever, but sometimes I see really good art (usually M/F or F/F) and I'm reminded that it IS my guilty pleasure. Unfortunately I'm super picky about the art style and dynamics portrayed so I rarely find stuff that I enjoy...

There's way too little room nowadays for constructive discourse on political or otherwise heavy/scary topics. Either it's completely shunned or it's getting way too heated... or people are only fueling their beliefs in echo chambers... :')
