D) and I think you know, if there is a modem, then it can receive code it can run code it can inject or issue instructions to any computer that it’s connected to. That opens up eight or nine known attack vectors in my mind. No Internet necessary.

The data warrants audits. That's a standard practice in finance, engineering, and public safety.
Why can't we use statistics to flag non-human or abnormal voting behavior that could mean vote manipulation?
