We're going on tour! We have tour dates up on our website!
The best ways to support us, and other independent bands, are to come to the shows, buy our records, buy our handmade artwork, and to tell your friends about our music. Spotify isn't the last platform we plan on leaving as we work towards a more thoughtful online presence. We hope you’ll follow us.
Our label, Get Loud Recordings, has quickly supported us in our decision to remove Ofrenda and Crisis Actor, and you can support them and the band by purchasing physical or digital copies of our albums through their website.
We appreciate those of you who have discovered us there. You can still stream, download, and support our work through other platforms that at least pretend to value human life and artistry.
We will not buy into the myth that we must unconditionally play along with these companies for people to find and appreciate our art. Even if that were the case, our music is not worth the great suffering the tech elite will continue to inflict if the tide of public opinion doesn't change soon.
Spotify accelerates the erosion of human creativity and subsidizes the further industrialization of global violence. Their move into AI combat technology, and the more efficient mass murder this will entail, is the logical next step in the vile techno-capitalist project and we want no part in it.
We are removing Roselit Bone from Spotify - in protest of their ongoing exploitation of independent artists, its embrace of AI-generated content and "ghost" artists, and its CEO Daniel Ek’s investment in Helsing AI—a company developing AI-powered military technology.

This is so true. Whereabouts in Louisiana had you been working?
Practicing our harmonies for our show at Gasa Gasa in New Orleans this Saturday 5/24. Our last show was the debut live singing debut for both Faith and Pax and they (and John!) sounded lovely together.
UPCOMING SHOWS
5/24 - New Orleans, LA at Gasa Gasa
8/22 - Portland, OR at Revolution Hall
10/2-4 Reno, NV at OffBeat Music Fest
We're playing Gasa Gasa in New Orleans on May 24.
Come experience joy with us at Okay Bar at midnight tonight. We will be playing some joyous new songs like "How to Not Look Haunted," "The Last Bird to Sing," and "Astrakhan."
One of our favorite artists in New Orleans, Susan Bowers, was giving away some art and we took home these little guys.

Anyway come see us as a five-piece (with new members) at Okay Bar on 5/2! It's free and we play at midnight after all the other shows happening that night.
Faith checking on our heirloom corns and beans.
We are playing a last minute show at Okay Bar on May 2. Come on down!
This is what depositing money on tour is like if you have a credit union.
This is like 90% of life now
Unfortunately, we've just been informed there will not be space on the stage for an opener for the May 1 and May 2 shows. We apologize to anyone who bought tickets to see us but we still encourage everyone to go see Low Cut Connie, they're great!
Do you have your ticket yet for our Siberia shows with @lowcutconnie.bsky.social ?
Our one and only Portland show this year will br opening for punk legends BRATMOBILE at REVOLUTION HALL on August 22.
Saw PJ in Portland, she played her whole new album first and it was one of the most visionary live shows I've seen. I thought the audience was being receptive until she kicked into "Man Size" or some shit and everyone went fuckin' CRAZY. A "fan" yelled at her for not saying hi to the audience.

Walked to my pharmacy in New Orleans and found all these in the local book box (not pictured, an illustrated history of modern art and a book from the 40's on engraving). I love it here.
