Dude I’m just pointing out that you unwillingly support the monsters by refusing to engage in the game that is democracy. If you think the game is rigged then you aren’t wrong but it gives you and me a chance to influence it. In a world of billions that’s not a bad deal.

Don’t you see that ideological purity and lack of pragmatism directly supports not just genociders but those who want to remove the freedoms you have to complain about it. You don’t get an option not to support anyone in a democracy. That’s the deal 🤷‍♂️

Right now the winner of that election is making it bloody dangerous to even fight for a cause he doesn’t agree with - he’s a step back on almost every front. Especially on bringing Netanyahu to any sort of justice

I’m really not sure why this is so hard. That’s what democracy is, a messy compromise.

To fight for a cause but refuse to vote pragmatically on it is like eating your own face off.

Simple definitely applies, you are right. No candidate or party with a chance of influencing policy at the last election stood on a promise of ending genocide. Trump laughable stood on stopping the war immediately.

So given those are the options you look at who gets you closest to your objective.

It’s like you pretend the political situation simply didn’t exist. The democrats get a lot of money from people who vigorously support the concept of a well armed Isreal.

You need money to win elections.

These aren’t pleasant realities but they are a feature of American politics.
