And they STILL jack up the prices for record profits. As long as the shareholders are happy, they couldn’t care less that their “candy” tastes like absolute dog shit. I won’t even eat a Hershey bar that my son was given trick-or-treating anymore. It’s a trick, and not a treat. Nasty fake chocolate.

It’s not just climate change, it’s corporate greed; supplanting real chocolate and sugar w/ high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors leaving the consumer with poorly imitated, highly processed fake chocolate “candy”. Shame on Hershey’s, Mars, Nestle for putting profits over quality (as usual)

Such a cool project for being able to safely photograph Porsches on racetracks. Would love to try this on a closed course, but would be insane to try it on the open road…not happening with the way I’ve seen some of you people drive.

Well - I’ve had to pick up a second job for the first time in decades, so not super great. I’m happy to be contributing to the education of special needs young minds now, but my free time - already at a minimum - has nearly completely vanished.

Vanity plates always make me wonder about the person behind the wheel, and what their stories might be about. Not sure about this one, but driving this Ferrari would probably give me a brain-gasm. That color tho, has me seeing red.

I think it was my college roommate who popped in “Rave till Dawn” that got me. But I’m old.

Also…I was curious what year Sandstorm was released (it’s 1999/2000). I go to Wikipedia just to see what they have to say. Ohh - I can play a sample <clicks play> - subtitles are on? And I’m now in tears😂.

Hands down one of my favorite (and funniest) moments last night trick-or-treating with my son, was at a neighbor’s house where they had a “candy chute” they started during Covid. And one option was for ramen noodles. Here’s my son getting himself packet of beef flavored Maruchan noodles. So Stoked!

I loathe that the right has unironically co-opted that which rebukes their twisted ideology. Heinlen would have hated Musk’s Grok AI. Musk too narcissistic to realize he’s all Vogon. Tolkien would have excoriated the likes of all things Trumpian. Won’t be long till they start quoting Orwell’s Party.

As a Gen-X’er we grew up with a LOT of weirdness: duck and cover, back seats in station wagons, low-fat cookies, quicksand, just say no, and we just rolled with most of it. But taking advice now from this guy feels like taking advice from a Garbage Pails Kid.

My son loves animals —especially cats. While on our walk last night he made friends with yet another neighborhood kitty. He took off his hoodie and put it on the ground for the cat, in case the cat was cold (ignoring his own cold) and it immediately came over and plopped down next to him. My heart.
