Obviously not the greatest news. However, if he’s going to need ramp up anyway, this may be a better use of his arm at this stage. You don’t want to have to eat your bullpen every time you choose to start him.

The Mariners scored four runs in their loss last night. It’s the first time in T-Mobile Park history that a team has lost a postseason game when scoring three or more runs.
