This mixing two years ago and this new data of record warm surface temperature indicates a fundamental shift in the characteristics of Lake Michigan and its ecology.

The marine life and related micro and pico climates in the basin are being affected and it's clear to those who live in the system.

There is a saying, "Lake Superior never gives up it's dead." That's because of the constantly cold water below the thermocline which is a barrier divide at between 10 and 15 feet.

For Lake Michigan, two years ago there was a documented inversion where the colder lower water mixed with the warmer.

The article didn't have Lake Superior data yet the graphic shows the topology of the surface temp. The key to Lake Superior is the thermocline where the temp below has been 38 degrees F.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made this statement: "no more money coming into the federal government's coffers".

This is a lie as law abiding citizens continue to pay withholding tax and pay estimated taxes per schedule.
