I live in Clarksville now, but I was born and raised in nearby New Albany. That city has adopted “voting centers” which New Albany has been using for several years now. I believe the voting center model is an excellent idea 💡 . It makes it easier to vote 🗳️.
I had mistakenly thought that the termination of the IDS newspaper edition was the total termination of the publication. Turned out I was incorrect in my judgement and for that I apologize. The IDS will indeed continue. But only in the online edition and is no longer publishing news or commentary.
Indiana University fires adviser of student media, stops printing Indiana Daily Student. While the digital (albeit news-less) version will remain, the newspaper that was founded in 1867 will no longer publish as a newspaper. (NOTE: This is a correction to an earlier article which I’ve since deleted)

Heard about this earlier, and my jaw didn’t drop. You know who else isn’t surprised? Pretty much every Republican.

As someone who’s been a frequent target, none of this shocks me. I don’t expect real consequences from the right because I doubt today is the first day they heard about it.
I now understand why the university insisted that they change the name of the old journalism school at Ernie Pyle Hall from “The School of Journalism” to simply “The Media School”. IU doesn’t want to teach journalism anymore. That might piss off the powers that be. They want public relations.
I attended IUS after high school from 1989-1991. Then I transferred to Bloomington to attend the School of Journalism from 1992-1994. Got my Associates. Then I went back to IUS ultra-part time in 2006 and completed my double Bachelors in both Journalism and Political Science by 2009.
Way to go, IU! I am one of 805,000+ proud alumni 👨🏼‍🎓 who’ve attended university at the hallowed halls of Indiana University. I’ve been lucky 🍀 enough to attend at two campuses there: the main campus in Bloomington, and my hometown campus in New Albany (IU-Southeast).

Bibi can’t afford to have lasting peace for too long. He’s trying to avoid prison like Trump and Putin.
Yeah. MAGAts love that OLD time religion.
“Judge not, lest ye be judged.” — Matthew 7:1 (KJV)

Makes you wonder 🤔💭 what Bible evangelicals are actually reading 📖 in their churches ⛪️ on Sunday mornings.

Born-again Christians love to be judgmental. However, they do not like to be judged in return. In other words, they can dish it out, but they can't take it.
