I know it is a typo but I like the idea of Irn Bru being a Dark Ages thing.

Maybe Scotland, during the Roman Empire south of the wall should be a new "Irn Age"...

Exactly. My local town has two large developments in the pipeline and I think I was the only person to go and list proper YIMBY representations with them at outline stage.

But I also let them know I expect at least the standards they've done elsewhere in the county

I got accosted earlier by a Cuomo canvasser. Politely declined as I don't get a vote (damn Soros hasn't paid me enough!) but ventured I wouldn't lend even a hypothetical vote to a sort as rum as Cuomo.

Got followed to the Subway platform by an irate guy asking why instead I'd "support a communist!"

Yes, don’t disagree, and on the one hand I am being quite glib about Mamdani, but on the other it’s less than a quarter century since 9/11 and he’s not *hated* (just nowhere near *as* popular) nationally so the issues that are there can be negated to a degree.

This reminds me of the true tale that the US Air force measured thousands of airmen to find average measurements (leg ,arm,body, etc) to design the best cockpit.
It turned out that the aggregate of averages simply didn't exist in real life.
Positively this led to the development of adjustable seats.

Have you listened to any interviews of Tories since they got chucked out? It's insane to hear them being reasoned and sensible.
