Quick #FossilFriday #paleoart post: a 2025 redo of my 2019 take on the giant #deer Megaloceros. Palaeolithic art captures some aspects of Megaloceros appearance but the details are not unambiguous: when is a line across a body a stripe, when is it a boundary between colour regions?

In this illustration you can see a scene set in Late Cretaceous Asia where an adult Deinocheirus is scaring away a pair of young Tarbosaurus

Therizinosaurs are, without a doubt, some of the most interesting groups of theropod dinosaurs

Here you have a selection of a few species that I reconstructed for the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum in Japan for their 25th Anniversary Special Exhibition

Did you know making memes is an important step in animation production?
Looking at the pyramids today, it’s impossible not to be struck by the thought that they’re basically big triangles with a sort of square ass. There’s probably a word for that shape, but literally no one knows what it might be. It’s one of the many timeless mysteries of the pyramids.
