Not to mention that we can't find good mental health providers that take our "excellent" insurance.

I'm not complaining for myself. I can afford it. I just am devastated by what others are going through when what I have is the elite insurance.

Anecdotal calling of BS: I have a tax deductible HSA through work and great insurance. There's an annual cap. One trip to the eye doctor each for me and my spouse drains it for the year. If anything happens that hits our deductible, that's not coming from the HSA. With kids, we spend our deductible

Lots of younger people out in Carlsbad, CA this time. All ages. Previous ones have mostly been my age and up (52). So I think it's working.

Also, is 44 middle age? I was definitely not middle aged at 44.
