Bad idea. Keep up the targeted strikes instead.
According to Heather Cox Richardson, historically, general strikes are a BAD idea. They do not unite people like a targeted strike. They divide them because people are not getting their necessities.

WOW: The White House says the president's MAIN PRIORITY is his BALLROOM. SNAP is ending. Subsidies for health care are gong to double and in some instances quadruple plan premiums. The government is shut down. The cost of living is through the roof. And his priority is his ballroom.
Heather Cox Richardson supports targeted strikes because the are effective (like ones against Tesla, Disney, Target, etc.)

However, she does not support general strikes, which tend to split the movement (people don't get their meds, food, etc.)

This man is mentally ill. Obsessing over the 2020 election because he can't accept that he lost, by a considerable margin.

But if he really thinks he won the election, he should resign immediately. He's had his two terms.

If you’re driving around in unmarked cars, wearing masks, and kidnapping people, you’re not one of the good guys.

Not to be cringe, but I'm surprised I am emotional seeing the East Wing demolition. My first job in DC was interning and going to meetings there regularly. I learned everything about it while giving guided tours. The beauty of the East Wing is that everyone can go there. It's America's house.

Today, the White House Press Secretary told the country that this ridiculous damn ballroom is “the president’s main priority”…not reopening the government, not lowering the cost of groceries, not lowering the cost of housing, not lowering the cost of healthcare….building a ballroom
