The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Due to Trump’s failed leadership (his pervious quote), the government shutdown has now reached day 21. Federal employees and their families across the country are struggling, many forced to take out personal loans just to pay their bills, and soon turning to food banks to eat.

And the answer is no. State law prevents a N.C. Governor to use their veto power when both General Assembly chambers are held by an opposition party. Another gerrymandered gift seat will awarded to the GOP in the 2026 election.

I’ve been wondering lately if George W. Bush has any regrets in appointing two of the most corrupt Supreme Court Justices in U.S. history in Alito and Thomas.

Probably not, but that will be another huge stain on his legacy in addition to the Iraq war.

Technically, I agree that your posts are 100% correct and HE has no control over the elections to an extent. Right now he is directing states to gerrymander districts to boost GOP chances and is calling for the elimination of mail-in ballots.

If those efforts fail, he will get desperate.

Tapper had a data expert on his show from the Soc Sec Admin who quit over concerns about data security. Jake continuously mispronounced the word data, as the expert continuously pronounced it correctly, which is “day-ta”. As a retired data engineer, this drives me nuts.
