Day 14 - Nathan/Hugh

A digital art depicting Nathan Graves and Hugh Baldwin, two young vampire hunters, falling down a long shaft/tower after being dropped in there via the floor under their feet being destroyed by Camilla (or Carmilla), a vampire seeking to ressurect Dracula in her castle, leaving Hugh's father Morris Baldwin stranded alone with the two evil beings. Nathan is depicted falling with a determined look on his face, as if diving head first into the danger ahead of the duo, while Hugh, most definetly caught off guard by the sudden fall, is flapping his arms around and screaming, yet to regain his balance and providing a slight comedic note to the art (no disrespect to Hugh though, of course, he is a great character).

Here's a T. Rex bored to death trying to bite their own tail. My partner asked me to animate it in stop motion, after she watched a video about the very important topic of "could T. Rex chew its own tail like a dog". The puppet is still a work in progress 🦖

Day 11 - Juste/Lydie/Maxim

Day 8 - Hector/Isaac

A digital art of Hector, once a devil forgemaster at the service of the dark lord, but who defacted shortly before one of his first defeats in pursuit of a more peaceful life, and Isaac, another forgemaster and a more loyal servant to the prince of darkness, who, due to his obsession turned curse, orchestrated the death of Hector's significant other, fighting each other fiercly in the devil forge where they both used to create powerful daemons and undead monstrocities for the army of darkness. Isaac is standing in front of the giant, fiery furnace at the center of the forge, casting a shadow over the angered Hector and smiling maniacally as he raises his blacksmith hammer, which in reality is straight up just an anvil on a long metal rod. On top of this, there have been some more extreme artistic liberties taken with Isaac's design, with him now being more of a hulking butcher type visually, and the forgemasters' work space itself, as it now resembles an actual forge more (even if of course retaining the alchemical/magic elements of it), with a giant furnace at the center, chains, anvils, and giant stone molds hund up at the ceiling, ready to be cast with molten alchemical liquids and awaken as new horrific creatures upon cooling down.

Day 7 - Alucard

A digital art depicting dhampir Adrian Farhenheit Tepes, also known as Alucard, son of Dracula, the prince of darkness, laying beneath the earth in his coffin, not dead but simply in a deep, centuries long slumber, isolating himself from humanity, holding a sword in his right hand, symbolising his willingness to wake up once again whenever there once again will be no-one else to stand up against his father's terror, yet crying out a single long tear, lamenting his own eternal solitude, the loss of his innocent mother, the downfall of his broken father, and the unfulfilled yearnings for love and connection which he was destined to start and comprehand but never go through with, due to his own self-imposed duty of ridding the world of the cursed blood that tuns through his veins, even if it may force him into eternal desolation.
The fact of his coffin being in athe ground instead of a more usual for him gothic hall or crypt is also intended to be a reference to a monologue from Alucard's perspective that i have recently heard, in which he wishes to dig himself a grave in the black soil to bury himself in it, though i cannot seem to find the source of it or a reference to it anywhere. My best suspicion would be the 2008 japanese radio drama Akumajō Dracula X: Tsuioku no Yasōkyoku/Demon Castle Dracula X: Nocturne of Recollection.

On the 7th of October 1988, the 1st episode of Gunbuster was released. Directed by Hideaki Anno, the OVA series had a total of 6 episodes & it would receive a sequel (Diebuster) in 2004. It debuted in SRW F Final (SS) in 1998.

Day 6 - Sypha/Grant

A digital art depicting a sort of split yet whole scene with Grant Danesti, a romanian commoner whom tried to defeat the Dark Lord along with his comrades, but was cursed to be a terrible monster locked in an old clocktower, and Sypha Belnades, a mage from a clan of oral tradition sorcerers, who was also sent to fight the Dark Lord, but was petrified into a statue and guarded by a cyclops in a darl, mad forest. Both were eventually freed from their curses by Trevor Belmont, who with their (and the Dark Lord's son as well), defeated the dreaded prince of darkness, freeing the land from his conquest. The backgrounds behind the 2 characters depict their curses (being turned into a monster and a statue respectively), as well as the locations where they were left after it (the clock tower and mad forest respectively). Grant hangs upside down from a rope, both showing off his atletism and separating the scene into two halves, to show the contrast between the two allies.

Day 3 - Sara/Rinaldo

A digital art depicting Sara Trantoul, the infected with vampirism wife of Leon Belmont, being struck by the Alchemy whip, wielded by Leon himself out of view, as part of a magic ritual which Sara herself agreed to, in which her dying martyr soul would upon death be transfered into the weapon that struck her, embeding it with power to defeat the vampire who cursed her, so no other soul could ever suffer her fate, and Rinaldo Gandolfi, an old alchemist who aids Leon and Sara by conducting the ritual, as he himself has lost his loved ones before to the curse of the vampire. Sara's face is stuck in an empty, strucken expression as her soul leaves her body, while Rinaldo's is full of sorrow, lamenting the loss of yet another innocent life, parallel to how he lost his, as he is standing below Sara, being ready to catch her from her last fall.
