2/2 The downside is that my deposit price for bookings in the capital has increased to $150 for the first hour and $50/hr thereafter. So you pay the same rate total, but a larger portion is required up front. This is ONLY for bookings in Pōneke - my touring deposits remain at $50/hr.

Unfortunately the lovely ensuite working rooms I have been hosting from in Wellington have shut down!

The upside of this is that I will be back to hosting from hotels, apartments and holiday homes. Classy and comfy! 🥰

Alas, I’ve had to reschedule my Christchurch tour! I appear to have caught a chest infection and strep throat over the long weekend, so I’ll be on antibiotics for a whole fortnight to recover 😮 Doctor’s orders are to rest and hydrate.

If anyone’s wondering what I do between sessions on tour: Between laundry, catching up with local friends &/or family, and fielding last-minute enquiries, I snuggle up and read! I’m lucky to be a person who enjoys spending time by herself... Although your company is always an improvement 😉

4/5 So, why does this matter? Long story short, it’s because these opinions are presented as if they *are* the widely held opinions of adult men. Which does a disservice to straight men; convinces teenage boys to be silly for longer; and generally widens gender divides.

3/5 I’ve seen lots of similar content about women w/ short hair, body hair, etc. Maybe because I linger in anthropological fascination 😂

In my honest experience, the vast majority of adult men don’t find things like hair length, height or body hair to be that big of a deal.

2/5 For example: I see a lot of content where men insist they would never date a tall woman or be attracted to one. Not since age 16 has my height been any kind of issue for me in dating/flirting/“pulling”. Conclusion: This is content by/for teenagers.

So while I was away for a year, I got to be a lot more offline! It was great, highly recommend. If I could do SW without the need to use social media, I absolutely would.

Coming back has been very interesting & I’ve been noticing some things I didn’t before.
