A reminder that you are permitted to put up Christmas lights any time now despite people claiming you have to wait until after Nov 11th. Don't listen to them...let the light shine in the darkness and the struggles you may be having. They can mind their own business and not put up lights.

Never thought you were being dramatic about sports at all...just to be clear from my point...I wanted to point out as much as I love the Bluejays...your post touched that pain of the loss for me but also the pain I see in other people's stories who have suddenly lost their joy.

Crazy how this post hit me hard. I am a church minister and big Jays fan. I tried to read your post to my wife who is not a baseball fan. I could not read your last sentence. I had a hug lump in my throat, tears and choking back crying. It hits life moments & I have a sermon in this. Thanks Andy.

So I think that’s what I’m grieving the most today. I’m not upset about a banner. Though that would have been sweet. I’m not mad about a lost parade or not getting a new hat that says CHAMPIONS across it. I’m grieving the sudden jarring loss of joy.

I am on study week this week as a church minister preparing for Advent and Christmas celebrations. As a basebalI fan I need this week to cleanse my heart from the #Bluejays WS loss. I need the themes of Hope, Peace, Love & Joy. I still have not been able to watch the replay wrap of the game on MLB.

Clement and Kirk not winning is just wrong...congrats to Ty France for his win even though we have seen way more Vladdy so I am biased he should have won. Giminez is also better than Semien. Baseball Gods you continue to dump on our Bluejays.
