Heyman is reporting Bregman is opting out of his deal with the Red Sox, and teams expected to pursue him include the Sox, Tigers, Mariners, Blue Jays, and possibly the Royals.

He says the Tigers offered $171M last year, and Bregman wanted $10M more from them, before signing in Boston.

never got settled into first base, when he went AAA they mind-numbingly continued to shuffle him through positions instead of picking one, he was nearly unplayable defensively by the end of the season. unless something drastic changes he might be LF-only.
