The centre supports people who are displaced and those in vulnerable situations by providing access to medical care, including a mobile clinic with ultrasound and pediatric services. We are pleased to support these initiatives to ensure people on the move have access to the care they need.
Through the Centro de Atención Solidaria y de Apoyo (CASA) project, the Colombian Red Cross has provided support to those who have been unable to access essential services while on the move.
Juliana Bravo, Head of Region for the Americas with the Canadian Red Cross, visited our partners at the Colombian Red Cross to learn more about the support they are providing to people on the move in Bucaramanga, a city in north-central Colombia.

Red Cross volunteers help spread important health information by going door-to-door in impacted communities. Working with the Canadian Red Cross and @ifrc.org, @canadadev.bsky.social is providing funds to help continue life-saving support in response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak.
The DRC Red Cross, with support from partners, continues to support those impacted. The Ebola response is designed to be safe and accessible to everyone, especially for those who have a higher risk of becoming sick, including women, children, older adults and people with disabilities.
In Kasai, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the ongoing Ebola outbreak has placed an enormous strain on an already fragile healthcare system. Women face a higher risk of exposure to infection, given their roles as primary caregivers & their involvement community health activities.
