• YouTube Studio
• Settings
• Channel
• Advanced settings
• Uncheck "Let YouTube enhance visual quality"
• Uncheck "Let YouTube enhance audio quality"

I guess the movie is standalone enough to enjoy the story, like if you have a friend who wanted to see it you could tag along without being too lost with a quick rundown in the car ride to the theater
But that’s not recommended

Yes you do if you want to understand who each character is and the general world building. The movie picks up adapting the manga right where the first season of the anime left off, so it’s required viewing for someone following the series
