It's not insane at all. It's fascist propaganda, and dismissing it as looney is dangerously counterproductive.

Trump himself may well be demented. But the comms people know what they're doing.

Thank you for emphasizing this distinction.

ICE issue their own "warrants" ("administrative" warrants). These are *not* valid to enter a private space.

Also, ICE "warrants" come in two very different types.

An administrative warrant, issued by ICE, doesn't allow entry into a home or other private space. Only a judicial warrant, issued by a real judge in the judicial branch, allows that.

So ICE agents pretend to be missionaries to get into houses!

I don't know what business they have supporting ICE. I guess they'd say they're keeping a public road open.

But note: ID numbers prominently displayed on helmets. No masks obscuring faces.

ISP are unafraid of accountability.

We should expect basic accountability from federal officers as well.

So all of these arrests where ICE smashes car windows are illegal, unless they have a judicial warrant.
