Youtube suppression really is real. I had a short with the word "gay" in the title for about 24 hours and it only got 3 views. Once I removed the word gay the short is now already at 500 views after 2 hours...

I think I agree. I think people have forgotten too that the Pikmin shorts exist. This gives me the same vibes. I would guess if we dont hear anything else by like next week then this is just a cute little short to promote the franchise as a whole.

Also if that was Rosalina, wouldn't they use Galaxy motifs then and NOT Pikmin??? Like it actually wouldn't make sense to take music from a completely different franchise if this was a teaser for the Mario Galaxy Movie.

I fully agree that I believe this is either a teaser like they did with Emio for a New game/switch 2 edition. OR this will play before the Mario Galaxy Movie and they *may* add in the Pikmin later.

Seeing some discourse of people saying the new short "Close to You" by Nintendo is NOT Pikmin related but instead Baby Rosalina is actually baffling to me.
