Since I've had a bit of free time I've been messing around with train simulator classic.

As many may have noticed i collected PRR ho scale locomotives so mostly all my Train simulator classic dlcs are PRR related.

Two new additions to the VVRR rolling stock! A while back I had gotten a log car kit and hadn't put it together because it needed special parts I didn't have. There's a total of 4 cars I was able to get two put together. The next step is to paint and finish the next two.

I assume since the lines these are on are mostly just from one building next to the other they only make one trip. I don't know much about the ladles or how they operate I'm still researching on them so i can eventually have a location on a bigger layout for these ladles.

No, these ladles do not have a heating system, the real version from what I read had a brick lining to insulate the cars and help the molten metal stay liquid. They typically stayed liquid for about 1 hour to 4 hours.

The VVRR has acquired two ladles for the Susquehanna Mining Co. These ladles will eventually be on a siding near a steel works. But for now on occasion maybe seen along with some Susquehanna Mining Co ore cars being operated on line 2.

Return of the Susquehanna Mining Co EMD SW1500 2704!
2704 had been needing a much-needed deep cleaning for a while along with grease and oiling. After a long wait, it finally landed on my workbench and got the cleaning it deserves.

The gravel lot around the switch tower is finished! The next steps are to fill the empty areas around the gravel with grass and then wire up the light inside the tower.

I recently got ballast, but it wasn't for ho. So I decided to use it as gravel by the switch tower. Added a tree and a telephone pole, a truck, and the next step is to wire up the lights.

While I have no desktop it gave me time to test out other locomotives on layout. Unfortunately as cool as the big boy is my curves are too tight for it. So I've gotta replace them. Until I have money for that it's gonna just set in the box.

Life update This morning my desktop broke. So I'm in the process of getting it looked at and then repaired. Hopefully, it's nothing major or expensive. Until then I have extra time to take care of irl stuff and work on the trains and layout. I hope to return to streaming & regular posting again soon
