That I'm not sure, I don't think I've seen any oil leak from below and I've not had this come up until a month ago either so it's going to need to be looked at. Not thrilled about potential repairs but I still need it

PCV valve and rings were the repeated issues that came up when I was doing my simple search. I'm not mechanic, so it's only a guess. When the first time it came on, I put a little bit of engine oil in, I only bought 1 quart. I do check the dipstick, so I think I'll be fine for now I hope

I sure hope so, but I did fill up with the recommended engine oil last month and the light came on again this morning. I can keep putting oil in but something will need to be fixed. If it does end up costing a ton of money, this is going to halt a lot of my personal plans for the time being

It would be par for the course this year, it’s been pretty rough financially for me, for a lot of reasons. I’m hoping it’s not as bad as I think it is. Need to take it in for service soon so I’ll find out soon enough

Low engine oil light keeps showing up on my dashboard. Been replacing the oil but something is not right. Quick research suggests the piston rings may be on their way out. Sure hope that’s not the case but either way this sounds costly
