Been off the grid for a couple days backpacking in Porcupine Mountains, MI. Here was my first campsite.

When this whole Epstein files thing started, I was skeptical. What kind of files could still exist with evidence that had not already been destroyed? But there certainly is a massive effort to cover something up. It must be really damning.

SCOTUS Reform is possible if Dems get full control. Pass SCOTUS reform legislation. State in it that if SCOTUS then rules that legislation unconstitutional, expansion of the court will be automatically triggered. Congress has clear authority to set the size of the court, and has changed it before.

Absolutely! 100% agree! The Constitution says Justices serve 'during good behavior'. It does not define what that means. Congress must clarify that with legislation, and stipulate that making a string of obviously non-sensical partisan rulings could end Justices careers. No impeachment required.

Check out the parking lot at this Ice Age Trail trailhead. More and more people know that walking is good for us both physically and mentally, especially out in nature. Its all made possible by our many volunteer trail associations around the country. Thank you!

I read biographies of Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover recently. The Republican Party has been pushing the trickle-down theory for 100 years. Its nothing new. Hasn't worked yet.

During my 6 mile walk yesterday I got my first look at 2 newly created miles of the Ice Age Trail. It has eliminated some of the road walk between the Polk Kames and West Bend Segments. Many thanks to the Cedar Lakes Conservancy for access to their land.

I highly recommend a visit to the Carter family farm where Jimmy Carter grew up, near Plains, GA. Its a fascinating look back to a time and place we rarely see.

One year ago I got lost in the Porcupine Mtns. My charging cord broke so couldn't use GPS. Fallen leaves covered the trail in a large area. Lost the trail, it got dark, had to hang my hammock in the woods. Next day found my way out just before a snowstorm. Live and learn.

This is good. Lets get a similar group of senators assembled to point out that without a declaration of war, and with no trials being held, the execution of boat drivers at sea is simply murder.

No declaration of war and no trials is just murder. If these people are transporting drugs they should be captured and interrogated. We need the cartel kingpins, not a few seagoing versions of the truck drivers.

For me its hiking and backpack camping. Walk until I'm exhausted, and then sleep in my hammock out in the woods where there's no cell service.
