I'm hindsight, sure, but Jake would have been on a breakaway against a tired line with a chance for a back-breaking shortie.

Love the play, but the execution has to be better.

Lightning were inches away from a short-handed breakaway, but the puck doesn't get out, Tom Wilson deflects it home from a Strome shot. Yaaaay.

Put the puck on net and good things happen. Point with the deflection on the power play. It's 2-1 Bolts eeeeeearrrllly in the third period.

Felt that one coming. Nice play by McMichael to see Protas behind him. Vasy assumes (incorrectly) that McMichael is bringing the puck behind the net and is looking the wrong way when the shot comes in.

His development has stalled over the last year. His offensive instincts have gotten a little better, but defensively he looks lost out there from time to time.
