Yes there is. Why wasn’t it actioned immediately after the election. Why have they ignored it for a whole year when the damage is incremental. Why now? It’s because it’s politically expedient and the last knife left in the drawer.

But they’re already in the EU. It’s a completely different scenario for the UK. We’ve already had one nonsense episode and the main protagonist is currently 15-20 points ahead in the polls. Why would the EU trust us? Our own house is compelling disordered.

Utter nonsense. Is this meant to be another unattainable standard? The homegrown population doesn’t use English at this level- although it would be fantastic if it did. Reform UK wouldn’t exist and we wouldn’t have ugly, dumbarse flags everywhere.
