性的マイノリティの声によって誰でもスラックスを選択できる動きが広がったのに、それで「流行りのLGBTQなの？」「男の子になりたの？」と聞かれたから「LGBTQや多様性のせいだ」と矛先が向くのはしんどすぎる。社会の認識の浅さが原因で、そもそもトランスだけでなく誰にとっても選択肢が広がることが大事という声は当初から上がっていた。たしかに「LGBTQ配慮の象徴」というメディアの報じ方に問題はあったとも思うけど、「多様性の尊重」が問題ではなく、「スラックスを履いているとすぐにレッテルを貼るような多様性の尊重への理解の浅さ」が問題では。
