If there’s any subset of Nintendo fans who completely deserve the “bootlicker” caliber, it’s Pokemon fans. TPC could produce literal MALWARE and they’d STILL eat it up and vehemently defend it.

This mentality is why Pokemon games have been so lazily made for so long.

Pokemon fans on Twitter are genuinely some of the most insufferable people in the gaming community. Their inability to handle criticism and the absolute hatred they show towards people critical of their games needs to be studied. This isn’t healthy.

I don't play Mario Kart competitive. I do feel there's things to criticize about World, but it's by no means a bad game. Does the price suck ass? Absolutely. Are there problems with the game? Yes. But people really want to make this game seem like it's the absolute worst thing ever.

It feels like it's getting the Brawl treatment. Now Brawl is my favorite Smash Bros. game, but it got destroyed by Melee fans for it's slower, more floaty gameplay and tripping. People say it's impossible to play the game competitively, or that Nintendo has forever ruined gaming with it's price.
