The Dirty Details of Smith’s β€˜Back to School Act’

Collective bargaining right are a pillar of democracy. Canada's Supreme says so.

By invoking the Notwithstanding Clause, @ABDanielleSmith is attacking the foundation of Canadian democracy.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Backbenchers in the UCP caucus (and there aren't a lot of them, given most government-side MLAs are in cabinet) have a lot of control over whether to pass Bill 2 with time allocation and/or the notwithstanding clause.

They could simply ask for it to be passed as a normal bill with full scrutiny.+
i ❀️ed even before watching a very brief portion of that video 😳 and sadly this is a comment with such broad application it kinda stands alone.
got these as a wedding gift. in 2007! they are amazing.

just too bulky for a city-sized kitchen.

and anything i could make in it isn’t ever gonna be as good as the stuff i can get down the street for cheap. 😝

i don't like how many people accepted the 'we got here cause cancel culture went too far' reading on the last decade. that's right wing recruitment rhetoric. there was/is 10x more power in complaining about being criticized than doing the criticism.
meh, they spring train in june & july in FL with 90% humidity.
