I think that’s splitting hairs. It’s the model we live by. More people want more water, more arable land for more agriculture, more land for housing. Do we NEED to destroy more natural habitat for that? No. But we do and we will and it’s becoming increasingly likely that we will kill ourselves too.

They took over some precinct community councils in areas with high rates of police violence against citizens, when they found out the councils would have input on incidents in the community. NYPD is a club for bullies.

My population rant: we need fewer people.
We’ve already killed 75% of all wildlife on the planet, incl 1/3 of all birds. Microplastics are found in every part of the planet, in our bones & brains. Our trash is choking the oceans & land. We already don’t feed, house or educate all the people we have.
