And as a straight white American born human, this is not ok. I don't deserve comfort any more or less than the people they're going after. I protest, I speak up, defend people in public when I see a situation that needs an intervention. It's not enough, but it's what I've got.
#ChloesBedroomTheatre 4 hour train ride today, I'm tuning into this tragic story. This particular story shattered me at the time - it's one of those rare news events that moved me to tears, much like 9/11. 49 lives, each with their own story and desire to live authentically, is just heartbreaking.
