i don't have much (if any) experience in making those kinds of designs, i think from what i've seen others do trying to make shapes simple or removing features does a lot

in my personal work though i try and slide further back, like. instead of an outright human i shoot for something more mammalian

oh yeah heres one of the minecraft guys i was talking about yesterday #fakemon #pokemon

a gibbon-esque, lanky pokemon, deep purple with purple-pink furr/fuz across its arms. its face and chest resemble a vaguely fanged mouth.

psychic/grass :: 8'7", 108lbs :: harvest | tinted lens (hidden)
ändensogos, the alien crop pokémon

presumed to be from an alien planet, ändensogos largely dwell around arid regions like deserts. eye contact and pest animals will send them into a blind fury where they open their eyes and unleash psychokinetic fury among everyone and everything around them, though most of the time when aggressed they make an effort to teleport away. when they do, spores from their furr plant into the ground, sprouting purple plant-like constructs after a couple days. amateur biologists often believe them to be distantly related to mankey.
