the sleeziest part is how easy it is to get rid of drift if you can just..... open up the controller.... and clean it......... and how the smaller controllers making it hard to use screwdrivers isnt even useful bc of the shit ergonomics, we're literally losing in every way!

Well!
My 30$ Dentist visit turned into a 700$ one. I also have a 200$ HRT visit coming which was the only big expense I had budgeted for.

it feels like nintendo isnt even trying w theirs either bc a nice hori one is maybe 30£ second hand and infinitely more ergonomic AND its cleanable easily without breaking the controller

I'm not a member I felt shy to join since im a uni student! I definitely can though ;w; and to be honest i dont have much "expertise" per se mostly just an a-level in mathematics, so its just enough to know about statistics and research methods to put my hat in the ring on what approaches make sense

And if there is maybe outside reasons for them (recessions? More budgets? Movie tie ins? Cultural shifts?) especially if those reasons are actionable in ways that can help us improve the state of the industry as a whole

Comics might be integral to our understanding of how the industry works as a whole. i feel like its kind of an open secret that there were specific eras of comics in which people were able to get better opportunities than others and i would be interested to see what correlations we can find +

i also think the graphs used here may not be the best to visualize outliers, where a scattergraph (even a simplified one for the sake of anonymity) can give us a better understanding of trends in the industry, and i do believe that pairing one with the approximate year that artists started making+

Im also looking forward to next year and hoping there will be a bigger sample size so we can all get a slightly more believable set of statistics, because the scriptwriting and lettering ones felt like a fever dream and i cant help but feel they might be caused by outliers?

Almost every single statistic here had me feeling light headed and crazy. I would very much be interested in hearing about what percentage of marginalized comics workers are included in the higher end of wages, and if that could explain some of the stranger discrepancies
