But at the same time, from experience I've learned to trust my gut and my gut was saying if I just went ahead and sent the order this would 1. lead to some angry and berating messages when I didn't do anything wrong and/or 2. a dispute with Etsy, leading to me being out the money and handmade item

Finally decided today to just cancel and refund it because like I don't know whats going on and for all I know this event was this weekend? I don't know, I just always feel like such a jerk when I have to do that

But without a specific date, I was planning on shipping it within my usual processing time, but their messages implied they were expecting it for some earlier date that they didn't tell me?

So I messaged them once a day for a couple days like hello just curious what date you need this by? Thinking maybe I could move their order up in the queue if necessary.
Sometimes I can rearrange for more pressing orders, I just want everyone to have their costume pieces for their fun events!

I feel really bad I just had to cancel an order, but the situation was weird. This person messaged me several days ago seemingly in a panic about this headband arriving in time for a date they didn't specify. Just said they "wanted a refund if it didn't arrive in time"

Just got Carrie’d by my new fabric softener. As I was putting it on the shelf, I guess the cap came loose and absolutely doused me. So this was fun way to learn that fabric softener works very well on skin even after a shower.
I’m now so baby soft I can’t walk on my floor with out skating forward

20. Mad Monster Party?: Ive never heard anyone talk about this Rankin/Bass movie but it’s so fun! I do feel like there’s a lot of wasted time, like it definitely didn’t need to be a full 90 minute movie. Turns out stop motion is just the perfect medium for spooky/ horror animation

I'm going to throw myself out of a window, I can't find my EVA foam that I bought for this specific project and I just had to buy more which was not cheap then I dropped my laptop and broke my partners charging cable and the replacement is like $70
