I can assure you, as an NHS worker, my wages have not kept pace with inflation. But that’s okay. I don’t want the money. I want people out of pain, I want people warm and I want people safe and not hungry.

But they are allowing us to talk about issues that have been repressed, for one reason or another, and I welcome that.

Look, we will have to agree to disagree. I am one of the luckiest people on earth. I have a job I love, a family I adore and I thank the universe every day for that. I’m happy to support others, to contribute to society and make the world a tiny bit better.
