It's been absolutely fantastic to see people exploring the #Carbon garden over it's first weekend #KewGardens
There's also planting reflecting the climate stripes - which is quite hard to photograph (without a drone) so I also created my own personal interpretation of the changing climate during my lifetime! #climatestripes
This summer, come and visit the new #CarbonGarden at Kew Gardens @rbgkew.bsky.social 🌳
A garden that explores the carbon cycle, and how plants and fungi can be our allies in #climate repair. We hope it inspires, and serves as a positive hopeful space to learn & discuss climate adaptation/mitigation
Sorry people but there's a blandness to an AI authored LinkedIn post that is just ick 🤮

On #NationalCleanAirDay we wanted to show sources in our collections that can shed light on past research into air pollution & smog. For example, we have lists of damaged plants dating back to late 19th century, plus letters & press relating to the 1952 smog in London 👇 #KewLA #EnvHist
🚲🚲 Half price entry if you cycle to #KewGardens tomorrow to celebrate #CleanAirDay 🚲🚲
Weather looks lovely for it! ☀️
Gotta say I've been super impressed with the #OurBike cargo bike hire in Richmond - easy, affordable, fun, and look how many strawberries you can fit in a #cargobike 🤩👌🍓

Every tiny organism plays a key role in our planet's health.

Joyous #OrchidFestival at #KewGardens this year, celebrating the biodiversity of #Peru, and many community and scientific efforts to protect it. 💚
Aware there are worse things going on! ...but I was really trying to keep my phone going for more than 5 years and it's proving challenging...
I think I've experienced a particularly unlucky triangulation of phone-SIM-geography but the 3G switch-off has really ruined my phone's connectivity including phone calls ⛔ 😶 #Fairphone #3G #NoSignal

BOOM❗ The UK heat pump had a bumper year with 63% market growth.

Still a long way to go but if maintained in future years the UK would meet its 600,000 heat pumps installed per year in 2028 target.
Making the most of the free electricity from #Octopus this morning thanks to the power of #StormBert. Got the smart meter up to 6kW 💪⚡
...if only I still had an #EV!
