We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

« Time to draw my favorite serial killer pairing :3 I’ve been daydreaming about them for a while now. For those who don’t know them, the horse guy is Octave and the other is Iya. They’re both pansexual freaks who get sexual gratification from torturing and killing people (they’re also both French, lol) and are originally from different universes but I figured they would make for a great crackship because of their similarities.

This one illustrations looks kinda violent and mean, but as the theme suggests: they’re just roleplaying ! I originally wanted to add a panel making it more obvious that they’re faking it but I decided to draw a closeup of Octave’s dick instead lmao. Their relationship is actually weirdly wholesome and it’s very funny to imagine these two violent murderers exploring their kinks in safe ways for the first time x)

I trying CNC was definitely Iya’s idea (she’s pretty open about having a r*pe kink and has been looking for a partner she could try that with for a while). Octave quickly accepted and did end up being REALLY into it, what he didn’t expect was that he would feel guilty for enjoying it (Iya is like, the first person he has gotten attached to in decades and the idea that he enjoys abusing her is really scary to him, even if in this scenario they’re faking).
