I’m thankful to have friends and to be the kind of friend that can spare the effort. And sometimes effort requires creativity.

I don’t fault the ppl who can’t spare the effort; they’re fighting for their lives and I get it. I do however hold on tight to the friends who can and do show up.

I have someone very dear to me, that I haven’t had a chance to share space with physically. But the space we make for one another mentally, emotionally & professionally is so amazing.

We all may be tired, broke, depressed & everything else. But we still make an effort. I may not have a dollar to spend but I’ll run errands with my friends or go help them clean or meet up in the park with food I already had at home so we can be together.

Effort is the cost of friendship.
